 Just measure the length of each area you want to cover. Then divide that number by 44. The result is the number of string lights you need! 40x80 Area:   6 String Lights

String Light Quantity - Full Coverage

20x20 Area:   6 String Lights

20x40 Area:  9 String Lights

40x80 Area:  15 String Lights

50x160 Area:   20 String Lights

The string light calculator above gives two options depending on budget. Perimeter String Lights means that the string lights will be hung just on the outside edge of the space - no string lights going to the center. Full Coverage String Lights means that the string lights will fully cover the entire area (middle and perimeter).
